My good news for the day...

Took Destiny to the vet and he was very complimentary about how well I've been taking care of her. He didn't believe she's nearly 14 because she's so healthy. Her eyes, teeth, heart, fur, everything is perfect. The bump is purely cosmetic at this point. He said if it grows over the next month then bring her back in but he's not worried about it.

And I got to play with four 10 week old kittens, a German Shepherd named Garbo, a Golden Retriever named Mirage and two small toy sized breeds name Baby and Molly. Very good animal day. I feel much better.

Good thing of the day?

Had a very effective meeting, teacher of my girl, coordinator of the new school, her and me. Just to check on things that may need attention.
The coordinator was creative in bringing up issues and solutions herself, and they were good suggestions.
It's looking good.

Also found a creative solution for too much hassle tomorrow at school for the 12 yo. And that will mean that in stead of getting a stressed out girl home, I'll get a relaxed and content girl home. Huge difference.

Good thing of the day?

Had a very effective meeting, teacher of my girl, coordinator of the new school, her and me. Just to check on things that may need attention.
The coordinator was creative in bringing up issues and solutions herself, and they were good suggestions.
It's looking good.

Also found a creative solution for too much hassle tomorrow at school for the 12 yo. And that will mean that in stead of getting a stressed out girl home, I'll get a relaxed and content girl home. Huge difference.

That's really good. How much of a relief is it when someone actually listens and takes on board how to move forward with things.
