I read some information on selective mutism recently. About how anxiety and other feelings can make it really hard to speak in certain places even though it is easy to speak in other circumstances like at home where it is comfortable. Really good news about your brother. 8)

Over here we have weird systems for university work - a first is the highest, a 2:1 is the second highest, a 2:2 comes next, then a third, and then below that is fail.

And yeah that's what my brother is like. He never shuts up at home lol, but in "official" situations or with people he doesn't know, he's silent.

Universities seem to have their own grading system to themselves. Ours is: Fail, Pass, Credit, Distinction, High Distinction. No one in my class got an HD.
