During my ACL reconstruction, the surgery was taking a very long time due to my very dense bones making drilling slow! So, they called in for a catheter and after an hour of trying, they stuck a camera up there and discovered I have a branch going in that leads to a "false urethra" as in it doesn't go back all the way to the bladder! So they finally got the thing inserted and finished my surgery. I'ts a good thing I was under during that, because I would have been pissed! They took a bunch of photos so I can inform other doctors later if need be.
