I returned a giant Millennium Falcon toy to Target, because I found it cheaper elsewhere, and I didn't have my receipt, so they did receipt lookup. I had used a $15 off coupon, but when they credited back my account, it didn't deduct the $15 off, so I made $15 plus tax by returning it. Woohoo!

You need a camera (agreeing from another post!).

I know there are no BB stores in the UK, yet, but we have a kid's 5megapixel camera in bubble packs for about sixty bucks, including flash card and USB cable, hanging on pegs at our store in the grab-n-go section, near the doors. Isn't there something like that where you are?

Filled my car's fuel tank for US$1.98 per gallon.

Seems odd in the wake of a "collapsing economy."


It has been quite a while since I bought two dollar per gallon gasoline.

made a really scrumptious "apple explosion": it was supposed to be apple strudel, but my pastry was so short and crumbly, i had to sort of fold it over the top instead of rolling it, and so the filling leapt out of the top.

it was fucking gorgeous, though.  :drool:

actually, i made two, one for my neighbour cos he gave me the apples, but he didn't want it, so there's one going begging, if anyone's interested?   :green:

it was too late for him to eat.  i'll save it for him for tomorrow, but after that, it's going straight into the freezer - i had to freeze the remains of mine as soon as i could, cos it was so nice i could've eaten all of it, oink, oink.
