As usual, something that happened yesterday- my mother made an account on the dating site I'm on so she could have a look at 'my guys' profiles* and had me laughing my ASS off.  I think her best comment was one of the guys who listed himself as a hopeless romantic (and certainly seems to be)- she got halfway through his articulately-written profile lauding love and said, "Wow, you'd be rough with this one."  Helluva thing to hear your mom say about you.

*before you deem that to be creepy, remember she and I haven't seen each other in nine months; call it long-distance parenting.  I dated ex #2 for over eight months and she didn't meet him once.

all sorts of coincidences happened, which culminated in me going to see the landlord of the house next door with my other (nice) neighbour.  basically, i laid it on witha trowel, and gave him my log of all the ghastly things the asboids next door get up to, and...

he said he'll give them four weeks notice to fuck off!



now, don't hold your breath, cos i'm not sure it's legal to give them less than two months' notice.  but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  just in time, as they trashed my car the day before yesterday, not that badly, but enough to worry me about the six hours driving i have to do on saturday, and the MOT next tuesday, AND how much it's going to cost to fix it.  luckily, my nice neighbour saw him do it, and will testify.   wankers.

the aerial is all bent and useless, there's some unspeakable shit (possibly literally) smeared across the roof, and the rear windscreen wiper has been snapped off.  it was the 12 year old little fucker who did it.

hilariously, when the police forensics woman came yesterday, he was there watching, and he called out, "what happened?  i didn't do it!" to which she replied, "really?"  i just looked at her. 

honestly, he couldn't have admitted his guilt more obviously if he'd painted "I DID IT!  IT WAS ME!" on his fucking head! 

this is the level of stupidity.  can you believe it?

My news- looks like my boss stuck up for me/advoacted for me/came through for me hardcore re: some job issues.  Even if it was all for naught (time will tell) it makes me happy to know he actually went through the effort to help me.
