i found various lumpy horrors, and went to the doctor's to have them checked out (after having eleventy-three shit fits of panic).  that was a month ago, and she wanted to check them again after a month, to see if it was just cyclical differences.  apparently, they were.

it scared the fuck out of me, though.  it's made me think a lot about life and how it can get cut short, and particularly about how it's pointless worrying about things which may or may not happen in five or ten year's time, and to enjoy possibilities and actualities now.  i really thought i might only have a couple of years left to live.

It is quite an achievement considering the fact that I've made it clear that I won't sleep with her plus she has been on the receiving end of my rants for the last year

Oh, so you are holding her off.   She must be frustrated if you two are more of friends as far as love goes in your perception.   It is nice that you have such a good friend.   I know my friends have some crap to put up with from me as well.

As a nurse I can say that hands are a very good diagnostic tool......................and I am serious with that statement.     My wife would say I am a very good "hands on" person.

Nah, she just believes (and from experience quite rightly so) that she can get any girl and I've proven her wrong We clicked right from the beginning but found there is no chemistry between us. 

I do feel lucky though to have her.  There aren't many who will put up with me
