my friend's husband was kicked by his daughter before she was born.  he was talking to the baby, putting his face really close to my friend's stomach, and obviously, he must've been talking bollocks, cos she kicked him in the face and blacked his eye!

Our lakes are mostly dammed streams.

There is usually quite a current in most of our lakes, even in winter.

If you fall through the ice, here, there is little chance to make it back to the same hole. You're pretty much fucked.
