If the facts are right, I applaud this woman.

Woman Cuts Off Attacker's Genitals
Bangladeshi Woman Brought Penis To Police As Evidence

A 40-year-old Bangladeshi woman cut off a man's penis during an alleged attempted rape and took it to a police station as evidence, police in a remote part of Bangladesh said. The woman, a married mother of three, was attacked while she was sleeping in her shanty Saturday night, officers told AFP. "As he tried to rape her, the lady cut his penis off with a knife. She then wrapped up the penis in a piece of polythene and brought it to the Jhalakathi police station as evidence of the crime," police chief Abul Khaer said.

The woman has filed a case accusing the man -- who is also 40 and a married father of five -- of attempted rape, saying that he had been harassing her for six months. The severed penis has been kept at the police station and the rape suspect was undergoing treatment in hospital.

"We shall arrest him once his condition gets better," Khaer told AFP.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was arrested for being raped, or if her father burned her to death for touching a man's penis.  :(

Finished a translation job that's been bugging me for weeks.

Bought snap circuits SC-300 (Radio Shack version) brand new, still in plastic, from the thrift store for $4.94. Regular retail is $60. I can finally get rid of my old electronics set that was all springs and wire.

After days of looking online I managed to contact the manufacturer and find a local distributor who carried a float assembly for an Aqualine AS100 anti-siphon valve.  Finally managed to repair my sprinkler system for $3.48 and get it running before the rains completely stopped for the summer.
