Tonight I'll be at a hotel with my parents and sister for the entire weekend! Haven't seen them in almost a year. They're coming up for a family wedding and I'm going to let my family take care of me for a few days and take a break from the drama at home. Definitely needed.

At last nights local union meeting a very good friend of mine, who was fired from the office last Summer, announced that he is running for President of the local. That is the #2 position in the local. I am already on the same page with him. About 10 PM last night I called the challenger for the Business Manager/Financial Secretary position, the #1 position, and told him 3 specific things that I believe are screwing up the local. He seems to be receptive to these changes. Hopefully my local will be run better after the June election.

Thanks. I'm all settled in. PJ's on. TV on. Hidden away from the rest of the family (who took up most of the inn) I managed to sneak in running into only one Aunt and one cousin. :laugh: I love my family and will have an awesome weekend, but I need to decompress first before the onslaught of socializing. :P

walked down the hall 3 doors and visited with my Grandma and Grandpa. It's nice having everyone staying in the same place. Still waiting for my parents and sister to arrive.
