22 out of 150 or so people at work got laid off today and I wasn't one of them. Unfortunately the 6 10s schedule is gone now, replaced by a 5 10s schedule. My Foreman was bumped back to the tools today and working on a wire pulling crew as of Monday and I don't know where I am working or who for on Monday morning. I can handle a layoff now but I want a lay off in mid to late October so I can hit financial goals.

And right before the lay-off all try at their hardest, in the hope not to be layed off too. Hated atmospheres like that.

Companies can overplay their hands though.
