What happened to me is that the mosquito who's been in the apartment with me since last night did not  bite me!  :2thumbsup:

Spoke too soon, she bit me last night!  :zoinks:

My synth finally arrived. It's in surprisingly good shape but it's going to need a thorough cleanup inside. Two keys are almost dead and another two have problems with velocity, which was to be expected. The D-50 problems usually have something to do with the keybed and are usually fixable without too much trouble.

The dust bunnies mentioned in a post yesterday have attacked this synth.

Good things always come in late (and big?) packages.

This one was positively huge.

I'm glad your huge package.........came  :P

Very satisfying, I should add. :P

You two! So naughty!  :eyebrows: :eyelash:

It's a tune mission, what can I say. :P

I realised that I am enjoying drinking water again.

4 years ago I stopped being able to drink it with anything but disgust. That slowly changed into being tolerable. But now I like it again. Had quite a lot today.  :asthing:

Does this have anything to do with portions of your country being below sea level Hyke?

No, I think it is autism related.

I started disliking water when I had a huge breakdown at the job I had then.
At work I had lived on raisin buns and water. 2 litre a day I guess. And when I broke down, I did not drink any water any more. And I could not stand eating raisin buns either. I had connected the horrible job to what I ate and drank. Took me 4 years to undo that. At least for the water.

Well I am glad you are feeling better about it. Bad jobs suck.

Very bad job. People were breaking down one by one, or faster. And in the year that I worked there, 4 employees under 40 had a stroke. Two of them during work hours.

What kind of job was it?  :zombiefuck:

Companies that do that to their employees should be put out of business.

Inbound callcentre, and the worst in the wide environment. Was hard for them to get employees.

Yes, they should. But, their employees are paid minimum wages, temp workers, not likely to be a member of a union, because of the costs. And they will not revolt against management, because they need the job.
The less a person gets paid, the more the boss will be bullying his personnel I think.

Can't think of anything good that happened... OTOH, I can't think of anything bad that happened either so maybe that's good?!

I can think of several exceptions to that general rule but yes, basically it's true.
