I drink differently from other people, that may be part of the problem. When I was a child, it was pointed out to me that I stick my tongue in the glass.

I used to be able to pound a pitcher of beer in like 23 seconds. Don't know if I can now though. I'm not all that heavy a drinker anymore.

Actually sometimes you have the sensation of it being stuck, but that is actually just from it scraping a bit on the way down. It tends to feel like its still there, but isn't.
