Post something good that happened today

Passed my AS Levels with a decent enough grade!  Considering all the shit of last year and my complete lack of revision, this is quite something    Still gonna retake them in Jaruary though, especially sicne now I'm more confident.

What results did you end up with?

Two Cs and a fail.  The latter is only due to the fact that I spazzed out and didn't turn up to one of the exams.  It doesn't look good on paper but I'm happy with it.  Was expecting much worse.

I too failed Classics  :lol:  Kinda mad that I didn't turn up to the second exam though.  Apparently they picked the easiest questions for The Odyssey.

Hopefully I am.  I want to go St. Andrews but they want AAB so I'll have to buckle up this year for A2s.

I just made a stinger missile with my new black powder. 30 grams went into it. It's a 3/4 inch diameter 3" long rocket. It went about 100 metres up in the air with a "whizz".

i had a bit of a meltdown and my social worker came round with her colleague and prescribed me librium, which they gave me last year i think and it helped

also i dealt well with the new shower in the bathroom (my ocd is really bad with bathrooms/showers/toilets, so this is a big positive for me)

Two older kids started school again this morning. The youngest starts pre-school tomorrow, on her birthday. Last night she slept in a real bed for the first time. No more crib!

My quick bitch of yesterday has been resolved.
I got a phonecall today, of a replacement of my contact (I had asked for him specifically) And he gave his approval, will send me the papers today, lessened my boring duties. And I can go on with this programm to find a job with this agency specialised in autism and jobs.

Sometimes, knowing the right person, bureaucracy can have good shortcuts. The man that called me now had told me 3 years ago, when we happened to meet in a very different setting, that if I ever needed someone at his work, I could ask for him.
