I had to head up a meeting ...
That could have been horrible, but .......
I managed a nature break just before I had to go in and I relaxed a bit, got fresh rain on me, watched a funky cloud turn inside out, tasted yarrow root, brought a scared robin mother back to her nest, started a layering on a plant I want to grow ... (dirty hands are not as much of a hindrance as a stumbling tongue and my tongue was solid.)
I was freshened when I had to start. It went fairly well. I managed to get many others involved in contributing to the meeting's agenda, which was my goal.
It's like, once I started, I had made more people than I had expected, "walk among the stars," and get this shite done!!
There is great danger, but also great benefit in successfully dipping your anti-social wick past the meniscus of the surface of social horrors that we encounter, each day. Drawing it up and lighting it is not always possible, but when you can manage it, your fire carries on for hours.
It is those succeeding hours that can be most horrific. I did it and I am not too overstimmed to type legibly, as many times before.
Clap for me, NOW!!
