I took my kids to see this
rare event at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
It's the third major exhibit of Egyptian treasures that I have attended. I have three serious books from the Ramses exhibit (Calgary, Alberta) and four from the Tut (Chicago). I was living as a rich man back then.
This time I came home with one nice book for my son. I got some post cards made from photographs of the gold, plus a lavish, mock Egyptian head dress for my daughter.
She didn't really care for the mummy X-rays, but she liked the "princess clothes" in the gift shop.
