I found an ant queen.

I was shovelling mounds of snow, fucking kneee deep, and for some reason, her body turned up in my view. She was froxen solid, but regal, just the same.

I stopped. She was perfect. I ran in to get my twenty "X" loupe (which I keep for assessing my gem investments) and inspected her percfection.

I made a small firee and gave a her a proper earthing.

I smoked over her, sang a song of winter.

iam not sure what any off this means, but I knew what I had to do. She was lost but not forgotten.

Your altar?

She kept an altar for you?

.. or are you talking about your own personal alter to yourself?

(before we moved, I had a whole room I called my, "I Love Me Room."  I had it loaded with my memorabilia, awards, keepsakes, and trophies.  lmao at the meaninglessness of it all, now.)

More the latter. Really, just a collection of odd junk,
some of it ceremonial. But, at some point or another,
she accused it of being my altar. I guess she was right.
I have a tiny version on my window ledge now - Some
crystals, beads that I found, a ring, my watch (broken,
but still of mystical significance to me), a couple of greeting
cards with birds, a branch with some odd seeds, a butterfly
thing off a piece of jewelry, a wand, and a LOT of feathers (mainly
cardinal - I'd never found a cardinal feather, so my dad sent
me a bunch of them, when he found a recently deceased
bird).

Pretty much a pile of junk that I find, and think is interesting.
Along with all the dust that it can collect. It used to be a
pretty big collection though - some mine, some hers. Skeletons
of stuff we'd find, a bunch of brass hindi stuff from a friend who
died, odd bits of glass, some car parts - just anything that seemed
neat.

Sounds kind of like a brujo's den. I always hoped that brujos did NOT get shit mixed up when they were casting.

I have two families of cardinals who nest in my trees every year. There were three this year, but the asswipe kid across the alley shot a female with his BB gun late in the summer. I doubt that the male will survive the winter. They mate for life, you know.
They use their feathers in their nests, rather than waste them. They are smart birds.

Fitting.
But, given that I make
it up, as I go along, there's
no big deal there.

THIS, I didn't know. Lots of birds do,
but not to the extent of there NEVER
being feathers around.

Almost ended up with one once. A fledgling,
decided to take a bath in auto oil. We thought
it was cast off, but it's parents showed up, and
we figured it had a better chance with them.

Fuckn other cat stealing my stray's food. Damn Lue, didn't think about his cat messing around with idiot gf.  She went to prison for money laundring.  The fuckn guy is 18 and his kids seem to be acting up to get attention.  The cat was at my window watching me on the toilet meowing.  It does it every morning.  This fat gray and black cat comes waltzing out the garage and starts meowing at me, I can only afford to feed one of them, and its because my mom is doing it.  Mom called me selfish because I would not  give up cash for the animal, she said she wanted it, and not to let it at the pound.  I am feeding it, and she has some nerve!  Perhaps if I get a washer then I won't have to pay for my clothes to get washed, then I could feed her by myself.

Well I feel bad for the fat animal, I been feeding it, but I had the guy upstairs call the pound.   I don't really have  a phone, and I thought he should since I put rock salt all over his entry way.  The lazy mail man won't put the mail in the box.  There is a railing he can hold on to.  So he stuffs all the mail in my box, I end up playing mail man for all the other appartments.  Damn people upstairs stole  guy upstair's shovel.  I felt something about them, and I was right.  I am glad I didn't make friends with them.
