Yes, actually it is. I believe its use as a verb is archaic but I'd be very surprised if it wasn't included in the OED. I thought it would fit, considering that we were discussing medieval times.

hmmmm.  tenuous, but i'll accept that: you can have "warring tribes" etc.  i'll just feel a little queasy over its intransitive use, if you don't mind.  :P

Hey, I hope he has a bunch of it left to play with. I had a decent amount from my tax refund this year, but I had some chores to catch up on (OH! ... and that fucking lightening thing that KILLED my freeZer and refriGerator), before I could play.
