Quote from: Queen Victoria on May 26, 2011, 11:26:52 PMTwo of the things I remember learning in Catholic school (1950's - 60's) wasA) When you attend another parish church (e.g. on vacation) you don't put any money in the collection plate. You only give to your parish church. B) When you attend another faith's service you sit there, respectfully, and do not participate in the service. That is what I do when I have to attend mass. I remember my family went to an Episcopal wedding, and my mother cautioned us not to take Communion there.

We turned it down for sound theological reasons.

Ex-Catholic, fortunately my family is not very religious, so I never got involved with church stuff very long. My Grandmother was another story. But, she lived far away and we only went to church when we visited to appease her.

My mother made me go to Mass every Sunday and every holy day of obligation till I moved out at 22!

Bumping this to hear from newer members about their own Catholic experiences. Also to raise my post count, encourage trolling, whatever.
Jesus died on the cross to show us that BDSM is a legitimate form of love.
There is only one truth and it is that people do have penises of different sizes and one of them is the longest.
