Is vegetarianism due some credit for your becoming ex-fat, instead of not ex-fat.
I eat meat, but honestly, I can't eat nearly as much as I used to. I find it hard to digest if I eat more than about ten per cent meat in my diet. Plus, I'm losing weight and I don't want anything that is supposed to "stick to my ribs". I was kind of heavy last year, but better, now. I miss the salt in meat, but I just can't eat it as much, anymore.

I really don't want inner soul stuff. I'm mainly curious if it has been a long time or is it a newer arrangement, like, since you got out on your own and took charge or have you always been veggie at heart?

That is an interesting reason, most meat eaters i've known cite that meat tastes better to them as a reason for being such.  My father is a primarily meat eating person.  Apparently all vegetables taste like leaves to him.  I think he is genuinely insensative to the flavors of vegetables.  May be related to the fact that he has virtually no sense of smell.  So from that point of view I can understand not looking forward to eating vegetables.

My sense of smell is really crappy too, so food in general tastes quite bland to me, but it tastes doubly bland without meat, and I don't like the texture if meat is absent.  Also, meat is very digestible for me, while a lot of plant foods give me quite severe problems.

I don't find vegetables to be very filling.  What is a vegetable that is made of virtually nothing, and is extremely filling?  I mean, potatoes will fill you up, but they are quite filled with calories.  I want a food made of no calories, that is extremely filling.  I want the food from Good Omens.

OK ... I jumping in on you guys again, because I have no idea what you're talking about.  ;)

I have a major sense of smell, and even when I was a kid I knew I could smell subtle things that others could not. What I don't have is the ability to taste subtle things. Most vegatables have little to no flavor to me. Meats - I taste the salt. Some veggies are salty or 'hot' like mustard, or horseradish, jalepeno, but many others could be anything you tell me they are. The textures are interesting, though. I really don't see how sense of smell helps all that much in tasting foods.

I don't know why my father doesnt taste vegetables, but he does have no sense of smell, and since that has something to do with tasting, i was guessing it might be related, but i dont know.

I love fruit and vegetables and fish, but don't eat meat. I stopped eating that when I was 13 and found when I tried eating it again a few years back that it totally fucked up my guts. I don't miss it usually anyhow. At one time, I was a vegan, but that was just another of my obsessions lol.

You might want to discuss reducing your libido through medication with a doctor. Also quitting taking those herbs would probably help as well.

Lol, Actually there are doctors who can do that procedure to humans. Male members of the Heaven's Gate cult went to Mexico to get that operation done to them. Also I heard it is being done to mentally disabled boys and young men, have to find out if that is true.
