Another bourbon and I will be warmer
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

So did someone else say where to put the stuff?

I remember when I worked for a place for nearly ten years I still got unsure of where stuff should go. Supervisor used to change his mind a lot about that sort of thing.

Yes, after a couple of seconds my boss came over and directed the drivers.  Neither she nor the other cook could understand
my freezing up like that.  I couldn't quite understand it myself, as the whole thing looked odd in retrospect.  I just wasn't
expecting that break in routine, I suppose.
That's an uncomfortable feeling. I get that a lot.

Why hasn't Joshua professed his love for me yet? :autism:

Where did Sockface go and is he alright? :-\

Why have I been thinking of my first BF lately? I saw lots of flecks of dandruff on the real estate lady's shoulders today and was instantly reminded of him :zombiefuck:

What should I do to this Mick character who is a serial dating site twit?

Should I even BOTHER replying to Geoffrey?

Which townhouse should I make an offer on?

OH I DUNNO!!!

I think I may be a bit spazzier than I thought.  We had new drivers deliver our big order of supplies to the kitchen yesterday, and when they asked where
to put the frozen stuff, refrigerated stuff, etc., I couldn't answer.  I've been at this job for almost 23 years and I know where things go, but all I could
think was "Why are you asking me?"  :dunno:  I guess I thought if I told them the general area and they piled the boxes a few inches to the left or right
of the "correct" or "usual" spot, I would then be "wrong" for having misdirected them.

And the whole operation got on my nerves.  We used to have one calm driver who just wheeled the stuff in and left it.
This time we had THREE drivers, at least one of them speaking in a Southern accent I couldn't decipher, and they
were just too loud, too numerous and too much in the way.  I got agitated and cranky.

So anyway, it was kind of a  :asthing:  morning!

I freeze up like that sometimes too.  If a cashier asks me for my phone number I completely lock, and look like a complete spazz who can't remember his own number.

Thank heavens, phone numbers is something I never have to worry about.  That and money, a roof over my head, getting presents, etc.  I just have to watch Lady Weeble since she says she's dog sitting this weekend.  Likely story.

I said to my friend today (who has known me for twenty years), "I think I'm a bit OCD." Without even a pause, he says, "you're a LOT OCD." Thought that was kind of funny.

It is. It's also a bit scary how the people around us often know us better than we do.

I have trouble with that too. When I lived with GA my LAC from the Disability Services Commission printed and laminated my phone numbers onto an A4 piece of paper so I could stick it near the phone. So when during a phone call I got asked my numbers I could just read them off the wall instead of freezing and saying I forgot them.

For me it's my postal code. It takes me a minute. We have that crazy mix of numbers and letters up here.  :facepalm2:

I promised her I would cover her postwhoring duties while she was away. I have the house to myself for 10 hours today so consider yourself warned! :viking:
