  True, but then there is the problem of losing them, so backup pairs are needed.

I'm browsing a site for people who want to lighten their (mostly brown) eyes, and to most of them, my gray eye color would be a dream come true!
Very odd to think that the eye color that disappoints me might be someone else's ideal.  Also very sad that any of us dislike our eyes at all.

How is that even possible?

They are using eye drops made from various ingredients ... some order the drops by mail, others mix them at home.  You could not pay me enough
to put drops in my eyes for the purpose of bleaching them lighter.  Others on the site use colored lenses.  That option is not for me either.
