I'm listening to Glen Campbell singing "Wichita Lineman," which I first heard as a preschooler, and I'm thinking about
the fact that my parents are 84 and I'm almost 45 and all of us are getting so old and running short on time.   :-\

I'll lend you my sense of urgency about the passing of time and other depressing things.  :asthing:

Holy fuck.  A woman who helped me a lot in Poland when I was coming out/trying to fire my school councillor died  :(

I only just found out from a friend's Facebook.  Shit.

Well think of it this way, bint. You remember her for something good, so she at least touched one life. Its highly likely she touched many many more, and had positive effects on them.

This is a good thing.

Yeah definitely.  I'm just really shocked.  She was young-ish as well.  She was a big LGBT activist and did a lot to help others.  She was also a queer club organiser.  I can't believe she's gone.

Was it murder, or natural causes?

What's unnatural about murder? Seriously. It's against the law but it's hardly unnatural.

If we took that definition though then there'd be no point in evven calling anythgn "natural causes"

It's a bad name technically, but it works

I'm thinking.. I shouldn't eat so much in one go.. and/or take my time doing so.. for I really dislike this totally full stomach feeling.

when i was a little girl on a sunday afternoon my mom used to play her tapes,  i would usually be destroying something all week, but sundays i would
sit with my mother and she would brush my hair.   :2thumbsup:

Glen Cambell was one she used to play,  also carly simon, dr hook,  a few others.

They were happy times

Thanks for reminding me cbc,  put a smile on my face :plus:  hope you not feeling too down??

Feeling better now, thanks, it just occasionally makes me sad to hear old songs I love,
because I'm reminded of how much time has passed. It's usually a good kind of sadness though.  :)
