I hate it when one of my friends makes me go to a party, or something where I don't know many people. It's OK if I can stick with people I know, but I hate mingling with people I don't know. Going to a party with a bunch of folk I don't know is my idea of hell :(

I used the "I don't feel well" excuse last week but what am I gonna do this week ? ? ? ? ? :bigcry:

Know what's worse? Debating  in class (which I had to do once, in a religion class) when you aren't prepared.
I tried to wing it and I crashed and burned and made an ass of myself and have blocked out the memory of the grade I got.  :-[

Tomorrow I have to stand in front of the Navy's Safety Review Board tomorrow to get my program preliminary approval to proceed. Will likely be standing up there presenting and fielding questions for about 60 minutes.

I would rather debate coz even if I don;t know what to say, that's better than having the actual workds in front of you so you have no choice but to say it all. When I get asked questions in class I usually just say "I dunno." Everyone thinks I'm thick :(
