How to go about determining what was said about me by my management to the program I support that would make them do a 180 in less than a week. Any personal conflicts I have here should have remained in-house. If they did not, it is grounds for filing a grievance. Of course, I am already blacklisted here. None of the other groups here will hire me even though when I apply they are impressed with my technical credentials and tell me I am qualified for the position. Is my management sabotaging my attempts to get out from under them? Do they hate me so much that they want to keep me here just to screw me?

I don't know the whole story, but yes, there are people nasty enough to do things like that.
