Bah, I think the battery is a bit aged. Oh well, that's unavoidable over time.

Heard from an electrician who also sells and repairs computers, that some laptop batteries get a kind of reset after a period in the deep freezer. (at least -18^oC) With some brands he had a 90% success (90% improving impressively till nearly as good as new, and 10% no improvement at all) Don't know how long he kept them frozen.

KDE is my desktop, usually, but after some exciting upgrades yesterday it decided not to start up properly.
