Waggy's in her basket on my windowsill, growling at an excavator that's digging up the road outside.
That's almost like posting harsh spank anonymously online to strangers you hope you will never meet.
My cat does something similar when she sees a raccoon or a 'possum outside. (She has never had the courage to venture outside. I feel bad for her, but I am also glad that I can easily keep her safe from harm.)
It is entertaining to watch her ridiculous back arching, tail fur puffing, spitting, sideways stance and hissing at little more than a shadow.
A friend of mine had a tiny black cat with a panther-sized personality! She scared dogs. She was and I miss her.
It is odd to me, but when she was a kitten she was still quite feral (we saved her from the wild as an infant and a "friend" fed her with an eye dropper, since her mother and several sisters were killed well before she was weened) and hunted outside, but after we had her spayed, she would not go outside at all anymore. She was immediately happpy - I mean upon arrival from the vet after her surgery - to just veg out inside the house.
She is an amazingly loving cat and I think about her about one fifth as often as I do my kids when I am away from the house. That is pretty damn good for a fucking cat, TBH.
