I will be washing like that soon.

Want to wear my green favourite dress I am wearing now, but it needs washing. Will wash it by hand, spin it. Wave it in the warm air outside and wear it again I think. (OK, may wear something else while I do that, and let it dry a bit more than just waving with it outside)

I'm thinking I need better coping skills than the  avoidance  I've practiced for most of my life.

  to her. I had some fears myself as a child that didn't make sense, either to me or to my mother.
I hope she works through this and is soon able to sleep again in peace.
