I watch and do all kinds of things while I eat.

I often consider the need to eat constantly as an imposition. My feeling is that eating will just have to deal with what ever else I am doing, including gutting feral hogs I have shot and begun to clean and saw up on the kitchen table.

The show deals with a lot of dead bodies. It can get gruesome, though so can many of the other shows I like. But you sound as if you have a strong stomach!

I love Law & Order: Criminal Intent.  I miss Vincent D'Onofrio's character, but Jeff Goldblum does a good job too.

I haven't seen it with Goldblum on it. Someone told me that Justified is a good show but I have not seen it either.

Stomach or mind?

I think that it is the mind which upsets ones stomach, not the stomach that carries the mind astray.

Many of today's more popular television programs graphically portray mock impressions of dead bodies. One of my favorites features a few graphic details from an autopsy in every episode (the "Medical Examiner" is one of the main characters). I see what you meant though.
