Yes. The weirder and more random the better. Because if you give them sound, well-intentioned advice, nothing good can come of it. Either they won't do as you suggest, leading to tragedy, or even worse they will do as you suggest, yet somehow manage to screw things up so royally that they turn and blame you for making it all go wrong.
