The Boston accent involves a lot of dropped r's. What's funny is that despite having been born and raised here, I have never had the local accent...I recognize an authentic impersonation when I hear it, but I'd have to make a real effort to speak that way myself for any length of time. Oops, I spelt Ocker wrong.http://www.koalanet.com.au/australian-slang.htmlKoalanet, I love it! Do you see them regularly?

Also seen them at the zoo. They are cute when they are little babies and they sit on their Mummys back. But they can be fiesty vicious little animals....I have these living in my roof....http://australianmuseum.net.au/Common-Ringtail-PossumWe had it removed and sealed the eaves but it's found it's way in again. I think it's started a family They carry their babies on their back also and sleep all day like koalas....in my roof unfortunately!
