:( Hope you can shop soon, maybe stock the cabinets with drygoods.

If you stock up a little each week on whatever is on sale in your supermarket's sale flyer, pretty soon you will have a good supply of non-perishables. I need to start doing that again myself!

Trashable.  I'm hoping it will still survive for a couple of months.

'Leave ya number' irritates me.

What happened to 'your'....?

Even news readers are being all slangy now. Which is fine at home, but in a professional environment?

Lazy Okkers.

Ockers are those who say "winda," "Sundee," and "Os-TRAY-ya" in place of "window," "Sunday," and "Australia."

We have those in Massachusetts! The Boston accent involves a lot of dropped r's. What's funny is that despite having been born and raised here, I have never had the local accent...I recognize an authentic impersonation when I hear it, but I'd have to make a real effort to speak that way myself for any length of time.  :P
