Fortunately I only have to afford it for a brief time. It is within walking distance to the wax museum, Trafalger Square etc. Lord Nelson was BRAVE!

Make sure you go to the Southbank when it's evening time.  You can view most sights of London from there plus its got a lovely atmosphere in the evening.  You can start walking down from the London Eye till you get to the Tate Modern whereupon you can cross the wobbly bridge to see St Pauls  8)
