I hate the cramps too, SorceressPol.  I use Ponstel and it works well for me as long as I take it right away.

If you are soaking a super tampon or pad in an hour or two, you really should call the doctor, because you could become anemic.

The average amount of total menstrual flow is probably half a cup to a cup in a month, with maybe four to six tablespoons of the total being blood, Nomaken.  Some women have much heavier periods than average, however.

Already there. As long as I get my blood checked and make sure my iron doesn't drop too low I'm okay. Hee hee. I'm about to do something I'm going to regret. I want some junk food gosh darnit and I want it now. There's only one thing around. Kimchi ramen noodles.

I'm so glad that I don't have a uterus!

Another random thought that hit me today:  Both my mom and one of my dads are now unable to produce offsping (dad sterile from some childhood disease, mom had a hysterectomy).  Who knew sterility could be passed on by BOTH parents?   :laugh:  ((OK, so the dad I'm thinking of was adoptive, but STILL!!!!))
