My front door has a bunch of ladybugs this year and I don't know why. I've been here 5 years and I've never seen them congregate there. Maybe it's a ladybug orgy.

there is meant to be an increase or decrease in the number of ladybirds here this year

i cant remember which

it was because of the decrease (or increase) in aphids for them to eat

Well we definitely have more here so I guess more ladybugs = more aphids? Although this is the first year my rose bushes have been in full bloom so that would attract aphids/ladybugs too.

I keep finding them aroung my front hall because my front door needs to be replaced (doing that in the new year) and you can see a bit of a gap and they wiggle their way indoors.

ladybugs eat aphids. theyre actually used to control aphid population by farmers. i thought you were from a farm cg?

my family (dads side)were cotton farmers. a legacy that will end with me.

yeah thats why we get a lot of ladybirds on the tree in the garden. there are loads of aphids on the leaves there

I am. Corn and Clydesdales. I know zipadeefuckindodah about gardening though. I suck at it. I love bugs though. They interest me.
