Anyone know enough about his personal situation to offer some insight.

He used one of those difficult-to-trace emails, I think. But yes, it must have been usable or he wouldn't be here.

We have a few "members" who registered using fake accounts. There's no way they can confirm their memberships now but I think it's sort of fun to keep some of those.

I also remember that he claimed to use proxy software of some sort. I can't recall the name of it right now, but it's popular with stalkers and criminals.
