Well, it's official. I went and got the results from my psych. evaluation and I OFFICIALLY have ADHD and AS. 
That and a moderate loan will get me a tea at Starbuck's. 
On second thought, fuck Starbuck's, I can buy my favorite tea online and enjoy it at home! 
(I did that last year. I did not know that they had already done it ALL and were waiting for me to ask (AND to pay evermore money) to get the papers. They have assessed all four of us now and we all go in for some more updates in late September. Not looking forward to it. I already have a twelve page worksheet to fill out on each kid.)

Judging by how this seems to be spreading, I think we have a dodgy copy of the shareware version, infected with a virus.
(Actually, we signed up for The Family Plan (so to speak), in order to save some money. The offer was made for local families to assist with this doctor's work by tracking the children and their progress until they reach puberty and having the biological parents submit to assessments. Last time I heard she has twenty something families onboard. Not exactly a huge data set, but honestly the more she learns the better off we all are. She also supports my wish to keep the children off of drugs, if possible. It's all very involved and I am sure I've posted on the subject, ad nauseum, already)
