A glass and half of sherry, nice buzz, still hate humanity, but, humanity provides me much amusement in it's headlong path to extinction.   I predict humanity will be extinct within a thousand years. 

Maybe I'll be reincarnated as an enlightened cockroach that will lead an armada of cockroachian life forms heading into space to a new planet to preserve the legacy of a dying earth!

My grandad in Poland is very ill (treatable though) and the hospital is refusing to treat him, quote: "all engines break down someday" - this was what he got from the doctors.  They are only refusing to take him in because he's 80 and they think that it's no use trying to get him to be healthy, the bastards.  So my mum is getting a friend who knows a doctor in Poland to arrange something by paying her.

What's wrong with him?

Two of his aortas are blocked.

The heart-lungs one and the heart-brain one.

With stuff like this, immediate action is needed but it looks as though he will have to wait a few more weeks because the doctor is having personal troubles or something and can't arrange anything at the moment.
