Has anyone else seen faces of death type stuff?

I recently saw an image on /b/ on 4chan which rated at a 5.0 on my fucked-up-o-meter.  Why is it that the more fucked up an image is, the stronger the urge is to make sure if it was really that horrifying after you've stopped looking at it?
