Or I could use one of those things they used to use to stop people masturbating

What do they use for that?

What do they use for that?

My Grandfather was a state chemist and heath inspector and had many medical books from the early 1900's when masturbating was considered a sign of idiocy.  They recommended a loose one piece sleep wear that was impossible to remove by the person in it and mittens inside of bigger mittens    that where tired on.   They also had diagrams of things that went around the penis and would prick it when it started to get hard :o

I guess that would stop them from masturbating.  Thanks Parts.

oh yes please.  if anyone has any tips to get me started...  :'(

My deal with myself is I have to get out the door. Even if I feel too much like crap to do anything but walk, the hardest part is going. More often than not, once I'm out, I feel guilty enough for wasting energy that I start running for a bit after all.

That, and I always get a shower afterwards, which (despite what people say) really helps my eczema, so if I want one, I have to go  :P

3. When the temptation to masturbate is strong, yell _STOP_ to those thoughts as loudly as you can in your mind and then recite a pre-chosen Scripture or sing an inspirational hymn. It is important to turn your thoughts away from the selfish need to indulge.

Ovbiously it's directed toward men.

Otherwise, they would warn against wanking disrtacting you from your missionary/cowgirl work.

:/  Sad realization:  I will undoubtedly have cleints I can't help- all therapists do.  This I knew, but I'm starting to think that if it doesn't fuck me up royal when I can't help my clients, it will fuck me up royal that it's not fucking me up.  *sigh*  I have to keep telling myself it won't be as much of a burnout because I won't be dealing with the insanity of family and friends.

You'll be a therapist (asking even though I'm sure I've missed some pertinent piece of information earlier)?

oh yes please.  if anyone has any tips to get me started...  :'(

My deal with myself is I have to get out the door. Even if I feel too much like crap to do anything but walk, the hardest part is going. More often than not, once I'm out, I feel guilty enough for wasting energy that I start running for a bit after all.

That, and I always get a shower afterwards, which (despite what people say) really helps my eczema, so if I want one, I have to go  :P

that sounds familiar.  my problem is getting out of the chair: once i'm togged up in my running gear, i'm raring to go.

and my shower is broked.  :'(  went to buy one of those really old-fashioned tap attachments with a shower head today, and the only place i could find one had sold the last one an hour before.  typical...  ::)

but thanks for the info - it helps to know someone else has to fight to get out of the house.
