more like feeling ... a really bad feeling ... but hopeful for for Callaway.
hope she's not having to hold up too many other family members right now and she can just do what she neeeds to do.
Thank you, DirtDawg. We got him buried, which was the important thing, I guess.
My aunt, my mother's youngest sister, was there, even though she is really weak from the chemotherapy for her breast cancer. The cancer is gone now and she won't need the mastectomy that she was afraid she would have to get. She said that I was the one who convinced her to fight the cancer (even though that wasn't my intent at all) so I especially want things to go well for her. I am afraid that she will blame me for all the side effects of the chemo like losing her hair. It has begun to grow back, she showed me under her wig.
My uncle and aunt, my mom's brother and other sister, were there too. I found out this other aunt, my youngest aunt's exactly seven years older sister with whom she actually shares a July 7th birthday, actually offered to shave her head when my aunt lost her hair from the chemotherapy. My aunt said that shaving her head would be only a quarter of an inch shorter than her current haircut and since she lives in a different city, it wouldn't do her any good anyway, so no thanks. This was said in a joking way, and it was absolutely hilarious when she said it, but it does not look that funny the way it is written now. I teased her that she was trying to copy this aunt's hairstyle.
