I noticed that even though the band was his, he was never the "front man", somebody else did the singing.  But there was no mistaking that unique guitar sound.

Exactly, but it causes me to think less of them.

I know I took a few hits for saying this, but I put it up not just as a humbling admission, but as a warning to others, kind of like leaving a buoy in the rocky, shallow waters for fellow boaters to "Watch out!"

I consider the hideousness of such a feeling to be a huge hole in the hull of my character. A nasty leak which one must constantly bail against, otherwise, it draws us to into danger of taking on even more foul bilge.
