My parents drank Tom Collinses all the time when I was a kid.  The mixer came in green bottles and I loved it for some reason they would get mad because I would drink it all ;D

Lemon/lime stuff?
I liked that too.

Yeah and really sweet too I used to drink it right out of the bottle then put it back empty

Good question. Laziness?

I have it cause I need my cracked software.

There are emulators.

Probably safer.

But, games run faster on windows.  :-\

I suspect the more complex 3d apps would be kind of clunky in an emulator. I would love to be proven wrong though.

Probably. But, a lot of those are
available for other OS's.

And, cracked too.

seems weird as fuck to me. you can risk your life fighting for your country but you can't go for a pint if you get back in one piece to your wife and kids. go figure.  ::)

It's a very good point, which was made when the drinking age was lowered to 18 in several states here.

Then for some reason, they raised it back up to 21 for all 50 states with a federal law.  I think that it was argued that the decrease in the drinking age brought about an increase in alcohol traffic fatalities and injuries.

Yeah. I thought 'twas 18, to begin with,
in most states, though. I was just off the
grandfather clause, when NY went up to
19.

Better to restrict driving more (as we
do with other weapon use) than to
prevent kids from getting sodded.

Funny thing that I remember when I was
passionate about the issue:

The drunk driving incidents were far more
prevalent in other segments. If there was
one group to keep off the roads, 'twas males
between 36 and 40 yrs old.

It was 21 in most states until the Vietnam War, I believe.  Then many states lowered it to 18, while others lowered it to 19 or 20.  Some had different ages for beer and hard liquor.

I'm seeing that.

Wondering if it was just
not enforced earlier. I know
that my folks were shocked
that it was raised. Interestingly,
they grew up in Missouri, which
has been historically lax (MO laws),
but were living in Connecticut at the time those
reductions should have happened.

Missouri's drinking age has been 21 since 1945, according to your link.
