They all die too easily.
Yeah, even with blood transfusions, they usually don't last until I've finished with them. 
I did not cause this one.
I only barely knew her, but she was sick - too sick. I did not know at first. She filled me with amazing imagery.

Just saw this again and realized how cryptic and incriminating it sounds.
She was the wife of a co-worker. I only recently met her and talked with her a few times, but really liked her, instantly. She would wait in our breakroom for him to finish his work and she talked to everyone. She was one of those people who can walk into a room and cheer up everyone and have everyone laughing and acting out in minutes. I am often annoyed at these people, but she was very cool. I had no idea she was in the final stages of MS and had given up treatments. She went into the hospital on a Thursday night with her lungs full of fluid and Saturday morning she stopped trying to breathe.
Just a couple of weeks ago, it was not obvious to a stranger, like me, that she was very ill. I feel for him. He has lost a treasure.
