I've recently beomce aware of a new arguing technique that I have yet to master, from what I can tell:  Making statements that are so full fo shit that your opponent freezes up, unable to choose what part of your statement to demolish first.

Actually, I was aware of this tactic before today, and it actually is sort of effective against me, because I wind up figuring the person is a lost cause as far as getting any sense into them on the subject they're approahcing glossolalia on.
