My wife is in absolute freak-out mode. I was coming back from my early job interview and I hit something, which I thought was a bird. **sad face**
I forget about it completely, until she gets ready to go to the eye doctor, comes back in the house after a few seconds in total panic and not making sense. It turns out that I had hit a bat and it was stuck in the grille of her car, not quite dead. "Rat with wings on the car!! Rat with wings on the car!!"

that's terrible. poor bat. what happened to it? once a fly got burned on our lamp when i was a kid and we made it a last supper, sugar and water. and then it died. poor thing.
