Yes I understood that once I stopped being on guard. I really was commenting on my own tendencies  which your post reminded me of, rather than commenting on what you had said.

It always surprises me how many people decide when they hear the words 'open relationship' that they know everything about your relationship and have a right to judge you for it (and decide that you can't have a proper marriage because of it).

Nope. My wife is repulsed by the thoughts of a three-way and shows more than a few signs of being homophobic. She doesn't even like it much when I point out hunky guys for her check out. She asks if I picked him out for her or myself, when she is feeling ornery, but she would not accept me chasing down a third party, either sex, for our lovelife. Those days were over, before she an I got together.

... just memories of an experimental youth, at this point.
