'This folder has been corrupted and is unreadable'... I think I may have done it last night reading it from a live cd. FUCKSOCKS... there was stuff in there I'll have a lot of difficulty getting hold of again.  :'(

I appear to have lost the entire contents of my music folder (over 30Gb)... hasn't sunk in yet.  :'(

AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!

Been there! I swore off of Seagate HDs, because the second 120G I bought failed. The first failure had the operating system on it, but not much else, yet, but when it happened to the second one I had loaded almost half of my CD collection on it. I was lucky, though, since I didn't really lose anything, except about a month's worth of ripping time.

What caused it folder to corrupt?

I'm not sure - I think it may have fucked up when I tried to access the folder last night from a PCLinuxOS live CD. This is the second time this has happened recently, it was on the other drive last time. I'm swearing off filesharing - Linux and Windows don't want to play together any more. :smash:

I will never trust a computer to 100%, never ever. Reliable things are always simple, like a knife or a hammer. If they're made of stainless steel, they'll still work 1 million years from now...

Changing the subject:

I have a fucking icicle in my house! It's over an inch wide, three feet long and it is, absolutely stuck to the door! Our sliding glass deck door has developed a leaky corner and with heat, inside and four degrees Farenheit outside ... well you get it ...

I did it!  I felt like shit mood wise and now I am starting to feel better thanks to my own imagination.  Hmmm...its not quite done, I can feel it.  I need to keep focusing on something relaxing.
* AllDayGlowRandy sings I am so excited, I just can't hide it.
* AllDayGlowRandy wishes you all a fuckn great day.

My mom says I am insensitive sometimes and delayed, no its just I feel too many of my own problems covering up things. I feel different emotions now, sadness for my poor grandmother.  I got in a such a good mood state I felt her pain and my eyes watered yesterday, and my mom was shocked because usually I don't.     She thinks I am just going through my years where I am ready for a banging.    I had alot sooner than she thinks, I never said anything about it.  Bad mood spells covered some that up to.  I wish she would stop calling me AS infront of everyone, because it just does not quite fit.  She did that at the nursing home, infront of one her friend's neighbors.  Then she tells her about my pornography job.  Fuck her!  I am not embarassed about anything she says, although its gets on my nerves to a degree.

I have a number of stainless steel mechanical contraptions, that I trust, implicitly. A couple of them would make decent hammers, but if used as intended, they  can stop someone from hammering from a distance, if necessary. One of them is quite effective for at least a few hundred meters.

Well, they're more easy available in the US, as mentioned about a 1000 times before...if we're talking about the same thing. (Love is good for my mood but seems to make my brain blunt...)

Yes, we're on the same page ... I am being a little silly.

Speaking of hammers (the dependable kind) I noticed my neighbor hammering in the trunk of his car, early this morning. I went for my morning walk and when I came back he was still at it. I walked over to see why he would be hammering on his newish car and he really fucked up. He is planning a big Super Bowl Sunday (American football championship is this weekend) party at his house. His wife brought home five cases of beer and forgot to tell him that it was in the trunk!
He has at least fifty or sixty exploded bottles of beer frozen to his trunk!  ... and the rest is all frozen in place!
HaHaHa.
It's cold here!
Our local team is playing in the BIG game!
It has never happened, before.
This place is nuts!

I don't think so. I think legislators treating adults like kids (read: Swedish and most other European legislators) are silly - very silly. They humiliate grown up people.

I am guessing you don't save your pc stuff to CD on a regular basis, as an emergency measure? My ex always told me to regularly archive all my laptop files onto CD in case the laptop ever went down.

Green tea is such a good appetite surpressant.  I love green tea, and I think its the calming L theanine that the appetite surpressant.  I got double the effect because I already was imaginating something relaxing while I did other things and my mood went up.
