I'm not easily turned on.  Reading pornographic fanfic stories does nothing for me either because I'm too busy notciing that the writing is obviously the writer living through their characters and feeling embarassed for them.  (The ones I've read, I read because I was watching a perv on devart.  I gave up on her after awhile.)  As for non fan-fic, I refuse to purposely seek out and read sex stories.  If I'm reading a story with sex or romance in it, I want there to be more of a point to reading it than to read about sex- I want a STORY.  And a well-told one.
