Flo, I have some advice for you.  If you can tolerate it, I suggest you drink a bottle of extra strength cough supressant.  That shit is a powerful pain killer when you drink mass quantities of it.

it has been on my mind since friday. i had a ... (hmm ... i don't really know what to call it ... it wasn't really anxiety ... a frustration attack (?)) ... on friday about setting some long term and short term personal development goals. the open-endedness of coming up with new ones in may combined with the memory of the agony of having to come up with goals last may gave my brain a divide-by-zero error and i ended up calling my mom and crying for an hour. then today i find out that they have a "more accurate" way of calculating bi-weekly payments. which is fine if your compensation rate is hourly, daily or weekly. my salary is based on a yearly compensation rate so it doesn't translate as evenly. their math is "correct" but in the end it just looks to me that they get out of paying me 166.92$ every year (or whatever amount based on how many "extra" days in the year there are that don't make up a complete week).
