Heard from an electrician who also sells and repairs computers, that some laptop batteries get a kind of reset after a period in the deep freezer. (at least -18oC) With some brands he had a 90% success (90% improving impressively till nearly as good as new, and 10% no improvement at all) Don't know how long he kept them frozen.
